Joint Forum
The Joint Forum is composed of representatives from banking, securities and insurance supervisory bodies. The Joint Forum ultimately resulted from an initiative of the Basel Committee seeking to promote cross-sector collaboration and a basic harmonisation of supervisory rules between the international supervisory regulatory bodies for the banking, securities trading (International Organization of Securities Commissions) and insurance (International Association of Insurance Supervisors) industries. The SFBC represents Switzerland in this forum. The Forum’s mandate covers aspects of a range of issues relating to the supervision of financial conglomerates and is directed at focuses on discussing issues of common interest at the technical expert level. |
