Depending on the position in question, the job requirements, experience and profile vary considerably. This explains why we cannot compare speculative applications against our open job positions. It is better to apply directly for one of the job vacancies posted on the recruitment portal.
All FINMA job advertisements contain contact details of the responsible HR managers. They can provide you with information on the application process, the job requirements or the current status of applications.
FINMA offers internships for Master’s students, which generally last for a period of six to nine months. As well as broadening your skills and competence, an internship gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge by handling a specific problem. Please apply directly for an internship posted on our recruitment portal.
Please ensure that your application is complete. It should include a letter of motivation, a clearly structured, concise CV, copies of your qualifications and any relevant reference letters.
The selection process generally consists of a pre-selection phase followed by two interviews. Depending on the job in question, additional interviews, specific eligibility tests or an assessment centre may also be organised.
We examine all the applications received in the pre-selection phase, which, depending on the number of applications, can be of varying duration. If we are interested in your application, we will contact you to organise a first interview, after which you will be informed about the next steps. You are welcome to contact us to enquire about the current status of your application.
