No access to EHP granted

You want to submit an application, make a report or submit data and do not yet have access to the survey and application platform (EHP). This page describes what you should do.

If you already have a FINMA licence, recognition, authorization or registration, select "Apply for access to the EHP with a FINMA licence".


If you do not have a FINMA licence, recognition, authorization or registration, you can submit your application for the forms of authorisations listed below via the EHP. To do this, request access to the EHP via self-registration and select "Apply for access to the EHP without a FINMA licence".

Apply for access to the EHP with a FINMA licence

If your institution has a FINMA licence, recognition, authorization or registration and you wish to transmit applications, reports or data in digital form to FINMA, you need access to the EHP. You must apply for this access.

Apply for access to the EHP without a FINMA licence

If you do not have a FINMA licence, recognition, authorization or registration, you can submit your application via the EHP. For this purpose request access to the EHP via self-registration. You can use this self-registration for an application in connection with the following forms of FINMA authorisations:

  • Bank
  • Securities firm
  • Portfolio managers
  • Trustees
  • Managers of collective assets
  • Representatives of foreign collective investment schemes
  • Fund management companies
  • Representation (FinIA)
  • Investment company with variable capital (SICAV)
  • Limited partnership for collective investment schemes
  • General partners of a limited partnership for collective investment schemes
  • Foreign bank representative office
  • Foreign bank branch office
  • Foreign securities firm representative office
  • Foreign securities firm branch office
  • Representation of foreign trustees
  • Representation of foreign portfolio managers
  • Representation of foreign managers of collective assets
  • DLT trading facility
  • Persons under Article 1b of the Banking Act
  • Credit rating agency

Other forms of authorisation

If you wish to request a different FINMA licence, recognition, authorization or registration, follow the detailed instructions on the “Authorisation” page. This applies to banks, securities firms, insurers and financial market infrastructures. Access to the EHP is only possible once the relevant process has been completed. Follow the path described above after receiving the FINMA authorisation: “Request access to the EHP with a FINMA licence”.
