FINMA only accepts applications online. To apply for a job, click on “Apply now” in the relevant advertisement under “Current vacancies”, complete the form and submit your documents. You will receive a confirmation of receipt.
There are no deadlines for job applications at FINMA. As long as a job is advertised, we are happy to receive your application.
A normal application and selection process at FINMA consists of three stages: pre-selection and two interviews. Depending on the nature of the position to be filled there may be other elements such as more interviews, function-specific case studies or an assessment centre. After each stage of the selection process, we will discuss the next steps with you transparently.
At the pre-selection stage, we examine all the applications received. The length of this period may vary, depending on the number of applications. If we would like to take your application further, we will contact you to arrange a first interview. You can of course check the status of your application with us at any time.
FINMA carries out so-called integrity testing before every new appointment. As part of this, an external partner checks the following applicant details for FINMA:
Candidates must consent in writing to this check being carried out. They may, however, ask to see the results of the test. Permanent appointment at FINMA is conditional upon a positive result. Further information about the integrity check can be found in the linked document.
